Sunset on a broken column

Waiting for the sunset on a broken column…

The Sun light coming from the wide angle, yet diffused by the spring clouds flitting around the sun. The high running waves from the horizon, made the shores shimmering that washed the weeds off. The rays spilled over the waves that polished the molten sapphire sky into orange-red wash. The whoosh of shores, the scuffling of leaves and the chirps of birds, formed an explicit Background melody. Then the clouds got faded as the Sun went down, and the undulant breeze over the surface got displaced by the fog over the horizon, when twilight beckon the sky to light up the stars.
